Application: Biotin-Beta-Amyloid (1–40) is a synthetic amyloid-β peptide corresponding to residues 1–40 with a C-terminal biotin modification for affinity-based applications. Aβ(1–40) is one of the major C-terminal variants generated from amyloid precursor protein and is the predominant species found in cerebrovascular amyloid deposits. The biotin tag enables detection, immobilization, pull-down assays, and interaction studies. Biotin-Beta-Amyloid (1–40) is widely used in Alzheimer’s disease research to investigate amyloid aggregation, protein–protein interactions, receptor binding, clearance mechanisms, and molecular pathways underlying amyloid-associated neurodegeneration.
