Application: [Lys(Me2)36]-Histone H3 (26–46)-K(Biotin) is a synthetic histone H3 peptide dimethylated at lysine 36, a modification associated with RNA polymerase II-mediated transcriptional elongation. H3K36 dimethylation plays important roles in chromatin organization, transcriptional fidelity, and DNA repair processes. The peptide includes a biotinylated lysine at the C-terminus, enabling affinity capture, pull-down, detection, and protein interaction assays. This modified histone peptide is widely used in epigenetics research to study methyltransferase activity, methyl-lysine reader specificity, chromatin signaling, transcription-coupled regulation, and protein recognition of H3K36 methyl marks.
