Application: [Lys(Me2)9]-Histone H3 (1–21)-GGK(Biotin) is a synthetic histone H3 N-terminal peptide dimethylated at lysine 9, a repressive epigenetic mark associated with facultative heterochromatin and gene silencing. H3K9 dimethylation plays an important role in chromatin organization, transcriptional repression, and modification-dependent protein recruitment. The peptide includes a C-terminal GG linker followed by biotinylated lysine, supporting streptavidin-based capture, pull-down, and binding assays. This modified histone peptide is widely used to study chromatin-binding proteins, methyl-lysine reader domains, histone methylation dynamics, repressive chromatin marks, and epigenetic gene regulation.
