Application: HiLyte™ Fluor 647 Beta-Amyloid (1–42) is a fluorescently labeled amyloid-β peptide strongly associated with senile plaque formation in Alzheimer’s disease. The peptide is labeled at the N-terminus with HiLyte™ Fluor 647, enabling sensitive fluorescence-based detection. Compared with Aβ(1–40), Aβ(1–42) displays higher aggregation propensity and neurotoxicity. The fluorescent label supports studies of amyloid aggregation, cellular uptake, intracellular trafficking, localization, fibril formation, and plaque development. HiLyte™ Fluor 647 Beta-Amyloid (1–42) is widely used in neurodegeneration research and screening assays targeting amyloid pathology.
