Application: Des-Arg¹⁰-Kallidin is a biologically active kallidin metabolite generated by enzymatic removal of the C-terminal arginine residue. It functions as a potent agonist of the bradykinin B1 receptor, an inducible receptor upregulated during tissue injury, inflammation, ischemia, and other pathological conditions. Activation of B1 receptors by Des-Arg¹⁰-Kallidin contributes to inflammatory signaling, vascular permeability, endothelial dysfunction, and pain sensitization. This peptide is widely used in cardiovascular, inflammatory, and pharmacological research to study myocardial ischemia, inducible kinin receptor signaling, vascular responses, and B1 receptor-mediated disease mechanisms.
