Application: Keratin K18-C corresponds to amino acids 26–38 of human keratin 18 and includes an added C-terminal cysteine for conjugation applications. Keratin 18 is an intermediate filament protein involved in epithelial cytoskeletal structure and interacts with 14-3-3 family proteins in a phosphorylation- and cell cycle-dependent manner.
