Application: [Lys(Me2)20]-Histone H4 (1–23)-GGK(Biotin)-NH₂ is a synthetic histone H4 N-terminal peptide dimethylated at lysine 20. H4K20me2 is a critical epigenetic mark involved in chromatin organization, DNA damage response, genome stability, and checkpoint signaling. This peptide contains a C-terminal GG linker followed by biotinylated lysine, enabling affinity-based detection, immobilization, and interaction studies. H4K20 dimethylation is required for Crb2 checkpoint protein recruitment and proper survival after DNA damage. This peptide is valuable for epigenetics, DNA repair, genome stability, chromatin regulation, and methyl-lysine recognition research.
