Application: MMP FRET Substrate 1 is a fluorogenic peptide substrate designed for sensitive detection of matrix metalloproteinase activity. It is preferentially cleaved by MMP-7, MMP-8, MMP-9, and MMP-13, producing a strong fluorescence increase after proteolytic cleavage at the Gly–Leu bond. The substrate contains a fluorescent donor and quencher pair, providing high signal-to-noise performance for enzyme activity assays. MMP FRET Substrate 1 is widely used to monitor metalloproteinase activity, protease kinetics, extracellular matrix remodeling, cancer invasion, inflammation, and tissue remodeling pathways. It is suitable for biochemical assays and high-throughput screening applications.
