Application: C-type natriuretic peptide is a conserved member of the natriuretic peptide family, alongside atrial natriuretic peptide and brain natriuretic peptide. CNP is highly expressed in vascular endothelium, central nervous tissues, and renal tubular cells, where it promotes vasorelaxation and inhibits smooth muscle cell proliferation. It also contributes to endothelial regulation of coagulation and fibrinogenesis. C-type natriuretic peptide is widely used in cardiovascular research, vascular biology studies, renal physiology, blood pressure regulation research, and investigations of natriuretic peptide signaling pathways involved in vascular remodeling and endothelial function.
