Application: Human β-CGRP is a 37-amino-acid neuropeptide closely related to α-CGRP and involved in cardiovascular, nervous system, and inflammatory regulation. The peptide contains an N-terminal disulfide bond, a C-terminal phenylalanine amide important for receptor recognition, and an α-helical region between residues 8 and 18 that supports biological activity. Acting through G protein-coupled CGRP receptors, β-CGRP modulates vasodilation, nociception, and neurogenic inflammation. This peptide is widely used in neuroscience, cardiovascular research, migraine studies, vascular biology, receptor pharmacology, and investigations of CGRP-mediated signaling pathways.
