Application: Hyp4-Des-Arg10-Kallidin is a bioactive kinin peptide and selective agonist of the bradykinin B1 receptor. It is generated through enzymatic cleavage of hydroxylated kininogens by tissue kallikrein, with proline hydroxylation at the fourth residue. Bradykinin B1 receptor activation is strongly associated with inflammatory responses, chronic pain, vascular dysfunction, and pathological tissue signaling.
