Application: IGRP (206–214) is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues 206–214 of murine islet-specific glucose-6-phosphatase catalytic subunit-related protein, a major autoantigen in type 1 diabetes. This peptide is recognized by autoreactive T cells specific for IGRP and proinsulin and has been shown to induce diabetes in non-obese diabetic mice. IGRP (206–214) is widely used in immunology and diabetes research to study antigen-specific T-cell responses, pancreatic β-cell destruction, autoimmune mechanisms, immune tolerance, and development of immune-modulating therapeutic strategies targeting type 1 diabetes.
