Application: [Lys0]-Bradykinin, also known as kallidin, is a decapeptide kinin closely related to bradykinin and functions as a potent inflammatory mediator. Kinins are generated during acute and chronic inflammatory responses and act mainly through B1 and B2 receptors. [Lys0]-Bradykinin is involved in vasodilation, pain signaling, vascular permeability, immune activation, and inflammatory tissue responses. Elevated levels of bradykinin and kallidin have been detected in tear fluid from ocular allergic patients, supporting its relevance in eye inflammation research.
